Main Street, Roosevelt Island: “No Respect”

Well it’s happened again. The New York Times, May 2, 2008, in referring to Main Street in Flushing indicated that it was the only Main Street in New York City and forgot that Main Street, Roosevelt Island even exists.

At least this time as opposed to the above Snapple Cap ("Real Fact" Cap # 266) we were in good company as the reporter forgot about our fellow New York City “Main Street”s located in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and on Staten Island. The New York Times issued a correction and amended the original article.
