Mystery Photo - Where is This ?

It has been a while since I have found a reasonable, much less, a good Roosevelt Island mystery photo to post so we got lucky finding this little gem (presented here in a cropped version of the original). Most residents are familiar with the 4 "moorings" that face Manhattan by the Octagon Soccer Fields but where was this photo taken?

Mystery Video: 1982 Roof Top Music Video

According to the short text that accompanied this YouTube video, posted by earlvisw, it was shot in 1982 on a Roosevelt Island roof top. What building do you think this was shot from?

My assumption at first based on the location of the Queensboro Bridge was that this is Goldwater Hospital. But in 1982 perhaps this is the old laundry building that was on the North side of the bridge where the still under construction 405 Main Street building stands. But that can't be as then we'd see Manhattan in the background which is not the case. My guess is still the roof at Goldwater Hospital. Again what is your best guess?

Mystery Photo: Roosevelt Island Tied to Sutton Place ?

On eBay today there is a Roosevelt Island matchbook cover up for auction. What is interesting about it is that the cover includes the phrase “400 YARDS EAST OF SUTTON PLACE".

Does anyone know why a Roosevelt Island matchbook was created much less printed with a reference to Sutton Place. The phone number on the matchbook looks familiar but is apparently hooked up to a fax machine.

Can you tell what playground on Roosevelt Island this photo was taken in? The photo is by Catherine Grieco and be can be found on Flickr HERE.

Hint: Per Ms. Grieco, the photographer, the photo was taken in the mid 1990's.

Mystery Roosevelt Island Photo: Ancient Space Rocket ?

It's time to once again to play the game identify the "Mystery Roosevelt Island Photo". In this case I know where this photo was taken as I took it. But I have no idea what this object is or what it's purpose is or was.

Can anyone hazard a guess as to what it is and where it can be found on Roosevelt Island? For all I know there are more than one on the island but I can recall only seeing this one.
