Brooklyn Bridge Park Open to Sit on Roosevelt Island Granite


Apparently Brooklyn Bridge Park opened a segment of the park finally to the public and that part includes the much talked about granite steps featuring granite taken from the Roosevelt Island Bridge. So if you feel homesick while visiting Brooklyn Heights stop over at the park and set your keyster down for a bit on some "local" granite.

NY Post: Tram Repairs Causing F Line Headaches


The NY Post ran a story this afternoon recognizing that adding 5000 people during rush hour to the Roosevelt Island subway station to catch the F Train into Manhattan is not an easy task or one that can be easily accomplished.
