An unconfirmed report has indicated that the Roosevelt Island restaurant Trellis may have been closed by the DOH.According to the DOH website, Trellis was recently inspected twice at the beginning and end of May each time requiring a follow up inspection. It is unknown what triggered the reported closure or for how long the restaurant will be closed.

WELL, LET'S HOPE THAT THE VIOLATIONS LISTED ON THE NYC DOH WEBSITE ARE QUICKLY CORRECTED BY KAI AND HIS STAFF SO THE HEART OF THE ISLAND CAN REOPEN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
ReplyDeleteTHESE RESTAURANT INSPECTIONS BY THE CITY ARE BOTH ANNOYING AND HELPFUL -- AND IT DOES NOT TAKE THAT MANY UNCORRECTED VIOLATIONS (MOST OF WHICH ARE EASILY CORRECTED ON THE SPOT) TO RAISE THE # OF POINTS THE CITY REQUIRES TO CLOSE SOMEONE DOWN FOR A DAY OR 2.

call the state and ask them to check'em out! Maybe they will clean it up.
