As reported earlier today by the Roosevelt Islander, Emergency Medical Sevices has decided to base an ambulance EMT unit on the island. THe unit will be housed during normal business hours at the RIOC bus depot and at other hours the ambulance will be stationed across the street from the Public Safety office on Main Street.
