As a kid growing I fondly remember each and every year the Peanuts strip honoring veterans on Veterans Day without fail. Here is an authorized one panel strip drawn by Charles M. Schulz with a little help from Bill Maudlin honoring Veterans as only they each knew how.Happy Veterans Day to any all Roosevelt Island residents who served our country !
